Itinerary
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your Arusha or Moshi hotel around 7:30 AM for a drive to Materuni Village, nestled on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Meet your local guide and begin a moderate 45-minute hike through lush greenery, learning about local plants and traditions. Reach the towering Materuni Waterfall, an 80-meter cascade surrounded by rainforest. After time for photos and a dip in the natural pool, head back to the village for a home-cooked Chagga lunch. In the afternoon, take part in a coffee-making workshop, where you’ll roast, grind, and brew your own cup of Arabica coffee. Around 3:30 PM, begin the return journey, arriving at your hotel by early evening.
