Drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant populations, dramatic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. Begin your morning game drive, where you may spot herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, ostriches, and more. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint within the park. After lunch, continue exploring the landscape, focusing on wildlife near the Tarangire River. After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's best wildlife-viewing areas. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, including lions, elephants, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests. With your expert guide, enjoy a game drive through the crater, visiting the Lerai Forest, Hippo Pool, and open grasslands.
