Itinerary
Meals: Lunch & DinnerAfter breakfast at your Arusha hotel, depart by 7:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, about a 2-hour drive. Begin your game drive exploring Tarangire's beautiful mix of swamps, open plains, and iconic baobab trees. This park is especially famous for large elephant herds, tree-climbing pythons, and seasonal migrations of wildebeests and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue your afternoon game drive until late afternoon. Transfer to a lodge in the Karatu area, where you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by rolling green hills.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & DinnerAfter breakfast, depart with picnic lunch toward the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Travel along scenic highlands and descend into the vast open plains of the southern Serengeti. Enter through Naabi Hill Gate and begin your first game drive in the Serengeti — known for its large predators and dramatic landscapes. Spot lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards during this drive. Arrive at your tented camp in the Seronera region before sunset, where a hot dinner and cozy stay await under the stars.

Spend the rest of the day exploring the Serengeti’s varied ecosystems. Your guide will take you to hippo pools, kopjes, and predator hotspots. Enjoy a 6-hour game drive where you’ll see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, jackals, and the rare black rhino. Break for a picnic lunch near the Hippo Pool, then ascend from the crater and drive to your Karatu lodge for dinner and overnight.

Embark on a guided hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where you can swim in the natural pool if you like. Learn about Chagga culture and take part in a traditional coffee-making tour — from bean picking to roasting and brewing. Enjoy a local lunch in the village, then begin your return trip to Arusha in the afternoon, arriving by 4:30–5:30 PM for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
